Mirra Zhuckhova

My name is Mirra. I am 25. I am an actress. I was born in Kyiv in 1997, when my mother was 33. I am the third child in the family, the third daughter, the youngest of the three. I feel that this is the most important thing in my biography.

From the age of 6 to 13, I was a soloist in the Lubystok folk dance ensemble. I graduated from School No. 214 of the Obolon District of Kyiv with a gold medal.

At the beginning of the third year, I participated in the GOGOL FEST.BABYLON 2016 at the Platform Art Factory. There, I met Director Peter Cant. Together we made the performance ‘The World Doesn't End’. In 2018, I graduated from Kyiv National University of Cinema, Television and Theatre named after I. K. Karpenko-Karyo. In April 2019, Peter invited me to be part of the ‘Hooligan’ theatre project based on the life of Semyon Kisly, and I went to the GOGOLFEST in Mariupol. In July 2019, we made a performance called ‘Hooligan’ at the Art Arsenal. Somewhere around here we became the official ‘Hooligan Art Community’. In March 2020, we went to London to continue working on ‘Hooligan’ with local ‘hooligans’ - a ‘choi’".

Due to the beginning of the Covid epidemic, we were forced to stop work. In May 2020, director Lyubov Slyusareva and I went to Kharkiv to shoot the film ‘Hooligan: In The Field’. In March 2021, actor Danylo Shramenko and I went to Dnipro to develop a new online project ‘Radiation’. In December 2021, we made the performance offline, in Kyiv. On February 24, 2022, Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine began.

I left Ukraine on April 22, 2022. In May 2022, the performance "Hooligan.BIZHENKA" took place in Halle in Germany. Autumn 2022. I'm in England again.
